We are now looking for a People Officer to join our People Team, in the UK, on a permanent, part-time basis.

The Role
As the People Officer, you will support the people elements of our organisation, playing a vital supporting role in recruitment and onboarding our new joiners, internationally. IIED is currently exploring the option to recruit and allow people to work outside of the UK. This role will take a crucial role in attracting, hiring and coordinating the employment of people working outside of the UK.
Together with our People and Payroll officer, you will be the glue within the People Team, supporting us with the delivery of our People Strategy as well as completing a range of HR admin activities. This will involve everything from the administrative aspects of the recruitment process, new joiner co-ordination, and the coordination of our learning management system.
Additionally, you will support planning for induction programmes, visa sponsorship application processes and relationships with institutions that place interns with us.
You will also:
Be responsible for the management of IIED’s people data within the HR systems
Manage the relationship with external HR service providers
Provide administrative support for the Learning Management System (LMS) and the Talent Management Module
About You
To be considered as a People Officer, you will need:
Experience in recruitment and onboarding processes
Experience in administering systems, scheduling meetings and coordinating trainings
Demonstrable experience of liaising and communicating with a wide range of people, covering all kinds of technical or professional areas and all levels of seniority would be equally as advantageous
A proven track record of working in a people and/or human resources team
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
